Laura Marling has announced a new online songwriting workshop through School of Song, taking place across four consecutive Sundays in March and April.
The course will be delivered via Zoom lectures on 23rd March, 30th March, 6th April, and 13th April, with two sessions per day to accommodate different time zones – 8 AM PT and 1 PM PT (3 PM GMT and 8 PM GMT). Recorded lectures will be available for those unable to attend live sessions.
The workshop, priced at $160 with a 20% discount available for joint sign-ups, will focus on Marling’s songwriting process. Each weekly session will include a lecture, homework assignments, peer review sessions, and a live Q&A with Marling. The course is open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced songwriters, with enrolment closing on 22nd March.
Marling released her latest album ‘Patterns in Repeat’ in 2024, following her 2020 Grammy-nominated record ‘Song For Our Daughter’.
