My First Time have dropped a new single ‘Brand New’, their first of 2025

My First Time have released their first single of 2025, ‘Brand New’.

The track follows 2024’s ‘Man Of Ill Repute’, with the band recently being named as one of Billboard UK’s 15 Rising UK & Ireland Acts To Watch In 2025. The Bristol-formed four-piece, comprising Isaac (lead vocals/guitar), Jordanna (drums), James (guitar/vocals) and Naia (bass/vocals), blend new-school punk with pop sensibilities.

“‘Brand New’ is the death of childhood self-assurance and birth of adulthood anxiety”, explains Isaac. “It is the desire to change everything because it has become just that bit too familiar. An imaginary timeline, where everything is different, and the ‘Brand New’ version of yourself reigns supreme.”

The single arrives alongside a new video, directed by band member James alongside Cloe Morrison, mixing digital, iPhone and camcorder footage.
