Greentea Peng has shared new single ‘Green’, taken from her forthcoming album ‘Tell Dem It’s Sunny’, set for release on 21st March via AWAL.
“GREEN touches on the necessary shedding of one’s skin in order to evolve. The perpetual cycle of death and rebirth one must embrace upon the voyage inward, in the turbulent pursuit of knowledge of self, loss is inevitable and thus surrender becomes the order of the day,” Peng explains.
‘Tell Dem It’s Sunny’ comprises 14 tracks and follows her 2021 debut album ‘MAN MADE’. The new record features production from longtime collaborator Earbuds, alongside Samo, Nat Powers, and St.Francis Hotel. Peng has taken a more hands-on approach to the creative process, including playing bass on multiple tracks.
The album’s tracklist includes previously released singles ‘TARDIS (hardest)’, ‘One Foot’, and ‘Stones Throw’, alongside new tracks featuring collaborations with WU-LU.
