James Blake has been announced as the Saturday night headliner for Solstice at Wasing 2025, joining a lineup that includes Anoushka Shankar, Salif Keita, Nubiyan Twist, K.O.G., and The Turbans.
The three-day festival, taking place at The Woodland at Wasing from 20th-22nd June, will see Blake perform an intimate solo piano show. The GRAMMY, Ivor Novello and Mercury Prize winner has recently embarked on a new chapter with Vault, a direct artist-to-fan streaming platform, following his departure from his major label contract in 2024.
The Fireside Sessions on Friday night will be led by Anoushka Shankar, taking place around the Sacred Glade fire, followed by a guided Sunrise Ceremony at dawn the next morning.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have James Blake perform at Solstice at Wasing, joining an incredible bill with Anoushka Shankar and many others. Here at Wasing, we are all about creating a real connection between artists, audiences and the natural world and we’re delighted to work with artists who share our ethos,” says Andrew Perkins, CEO of Wasing Estate.
The alcohol-free event will offer additional activities including nature connection meditations, breathwork sessions, and Wild Swim & Sauna sessions in the woodland lake. Family activities such as yoga, crafting, and circus skills will also be available.
