Megan Thee Stallion has launched her own tequila brand, Chicas Divertidas, featuring two varieties – a Blanco and a Reposado bottle.
The tequila is made from single-source, 100 per cent Blue Weber agave, harvested from the volcanic highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, and produced at the Casa Centinela distillery. The Blanco variant features citrus notes and rosemary, while the Reposado offers a profile of caramelised agave, American oak and cooking spices. The bottles are priced at $70 (£55) and are currently available in the US.
“As someone who values good vibes and great memories, I knew I wanted to create a tequila that was designed to be shared and savoured with my Hotties,” Megan told People. “Smooth, sultry, and premium. This process has been years in the making, and I’m so proud to take this next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and launch this brand.”
“I know the Hotties are ready, it’s time to give them a drink made by me,” she added. “I’m excited to share this labour of love with you all and hope you are inspired to enter your CHICAS ERA!”
This marks Megan’s latest venture into the food and drinks industry, following previous collaborations with Popeyes in 2021 for a limited edition ‘hottie sauce’, and a partnership with Goldbelly in 2022 for Megan’s H-Town Hottie Pie, inspired by her Houston hometown.
