Manic Street Preachers are leading the race for this week’s UK Number One album with their latest release ‘Critical Thinking’.
The Welsh band’s 15th studio album is currently ahead of Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Short N’ Sweet’, with approximately 2,700 units separating the two releases according to the Official Charts. If successful, this would mark their third UK Number One album, following 1998’s ‘This Is My Truth, Tell Me Yours’ and 2022’s ‘The Ultra Vivid Lament’.
The Wombats are currently sitting at number three with ‘Oh! The Ocean’, their fifth Top 10 album in the UK, while PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake’s collaborative album ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’ holds the fourth position.
