Madonna has announced plans to re-release her 1994 album ‘Bedtime Stories’ on vinyl.
The singer shared a trailer for the upcoming re-issue on social media, featuring the album’s title track ‘Bedtime Story’. While a specific release date has not been confirmed, Madonna indicated the release would be “coming soon”.
‘Bedtime Stories’, Madonna’s sixth studio album, marked a shift from her previous work, incorporating R&B and dub elements alongside her signature pop sound. The record featured production work from Björk and Babyface.
The announcement follows Madonna’s recent update about her forthcoming new music, which she has revealed will be a follow-up to ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’. “My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you!! . Confessions Part 2,” Madonna wrote.
The singer has been working with producer Stuart Price, known for his work on the original ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ in 2005. Price has collaborated with Madonna on three tours, including her recent ‘Celebration’ shows. The producer revealed their renewed partnership came about naturally, saying, “When she announced the greatest hits tour I called her just to say, ‘Congratulations, I think this is a great idea.’ And she said, ‘I was just thinking about you, and I thought you’d be the perfect person to work with on this’.”
