The WAEVE have announced a new three-track EP titled ‘Eternal’, set for release via Transgressive on 14th March 2025, alongside sharing new single ‘Love Is All Pain’.
The duo, comprising Graham Coxon and Rose Elinor Dougall, have worked with producer James Ford (Fontaines D.C., Arctic Monkeys, The Last Dinner Party, blur) on the EP, which follows their two albums, ‘The WAEVE’ and ‘City Lights’, released in 2023 and 2024 respectively. ‘Love Is All Pain’ features both members on vocal duties, accompanied by synths.
The track arrives with a video directed by Simon Leeder, filmed in black and white 8mm film at Southmere Lake, Thamesmead. The release follows their recent live album ‘Live from the City Lights Sessions’, which features performances of all ten tracks from ‘City Lights’ recorded at London’s Crouch End Studios.
The ‘Eternal’ EP will receive a digital-only release, featuring three tracks: ‘Love Is All Pain’, ‘It’s The Hope That Kills You’, and ‘Eternal’.
