Clara Le Bouar has shared her new single ‘Silver’, a tender alt-pop track dedicated to her best friend.
The Paris-based singer-songwriter’s latest offering follows her debut EP ‘Songs’, which arrived in August 2024. The seven-track collection introduced Le Bouar’s delicate approach to storytelling through music, with her first single ‘Stupid Song’ accumulating nearly 200,000 streams on Spotify.
“Silver is more than just a song. I wrote it for my best friend during one of the hardest times in her life. Through the lyrics, I tried to capture her essence and our journey together. Lines like ‘Pretty girl in the mirror, black lace and silver’ capture how I see her—elegant, resilient, and always adorned with her silver jewelry, a contrast to my gold. To me, she is like silver: luminous, strong, and precious,” Le Bouar explains.
Initially approaching music as a private pursuit, Le Bouar began sharing her work online, where she garnered attention from both listeners and collaborators. Her debut EP established her sound, combining romantic moments with melancholic intervals across its seven tracks.
