Opus Kink have released a new version of ‘I Wanna Live With You’, reworked by Warmduscher via Hideous Mink Records and SO Recordings.
The Brighton six-piece have collaborated with the post-punk outfit for this new interpretation of their latest single. The track arrives as the band prepare for their largest headline performance to date at London’s Electric Ballroom this November, alongside a series of festival appearances across the UK and Europe.
The band, comprising Angus Rogers, Sam Abbo, Fin Abbo, Jazz Pope, Jack Banjo Courtney, and Jed Morgans, have previously released their debut EP ‘Til The Stream Runs Dry’ and its 2023 follow-up ‘My Eyes, Brother!’.
Speaking about the collaboration, the bands shared: “Opus Kink & Warmduscher present the very moment that Clams Baker Jr. fell in love at the disco. Clams B and the mighty Witherer of Warmduscher have skinned, boned and recalibrated Opus Kink’s gutter-pop romance ‘I Wanna Live With You’ and the resulting dish slips down the throat with lusty ease. Enjoy responsibly. Salt the dancefloor and fire up the blue Rolls Royce. Nothing will ever not be the same.”
