Bea and her Business has unveiled new single ‘We’re Not The Same’, marking their first release of 2025.
The London-based artist’s latest track explores the complexities of losing a childhood friendship. “We’re Not The Same’ is about growing apart from a childhood best friend,” Bea explains. “We went from being totally inseparable to biting each other’s heads off 24/7. It all became quite toxic, and I was so exhausted by the end, which is what I think this song encapsulates. This song is coming to terms with the fact that growing up and maturing can sometimes mean you lose a friendship that you once valued a lot.”
The track follows their 2024 single ‘Safety Net’, which was co-written with Greg Kurstin and Caroline Ailin, known for their work with Adele, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, and others.
Bea and her Business released her second EP ‘Me vs. Me’ in May 2024, following their debut project ‘Introverted Extrovert’.
