A new immersive music experience, Live Odyssey, is set to open in Camden this May, celebrating the history of British music through a combination of technology and live performances.
The attraction, which will be located in Camden Market, features a series of themed spaces exploring different musical eras, from the 1960s through to the present day. The two-and-a-half-hour experience includes a specially created holographic performance from The Libertines, alongside displays of memorabilia, unseen live footage, and photography from Britain’s music scene.
Gary Prosser of Live Odyssey says: “We’ve designed Live Odyssey to be more than just a venue; it’s a journey into British music’s storied past. By combining hologram performances from iconic UK acts with breathtaking live performances, we aim to bridge generations of music lovers, offering a nostalgic and unique experience.”
The project has partnered with Music Venue Trust, with a portion of ticket sales supporting their work protecting grassroots music venues. Mark Davyd, CEO of Music Venue Trust, says: “British music has always drawn strength from its roots, and we are grateful that Live Odyssey will be supporting MVT in their mission to protect the spaces where countless artists have honed their craft. Together, we’re ensuring that British music, from its historic roots to its future potential, remains accessible and celebrated for years to come.”
