Lady Gaga has unveiled her new single ‘Abracadabra’, alongside its accompanying music video, taken from upcoming seventh studio album ‘Mayhem’, due 7th March.
The track and video debuted during the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, with the visual directed by Lady Gaga, Parris Goebel, and Bethany Vargas. The video features choreography by Goebel, incorporating a dance battle concept with 40 dancers. Styling was handled by Peri Rosenzweig and Nick Royal of HARDSTYLE, including pieces such as a white cape created from vintage wedding dresses.
‘Mayhem’, which follows previously released singles ‘Disease’ and ‘Die With a Smile’, features 14 tracks and was executive produced by Gaga, Michael Polansky and Andrew Watt, with additional production from Cirkut and Gesaffelstein.
“The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved,” Gaga explains. “Reassembling a shattered mirror: even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way.”
