London rock band The Molotovs have signed with UK independent label Marshall Records, with the deal finalised at Sixty Sixty Sounds on Denmark Street.
The teenage siblings Mathew and Issey Cartlidge have already played over five hundred live shows, sharing stages with Sex Pistols and The Libertines, and receiving recognition from Green Day. The band announced their signing at a sold-out show at Dingwalls, London.
Marshall Group’s Director of Music Platforms, Steve Tannett, says, “We’re excited to sign an act that embodies the spirit and essence of what Marshall stands for… live, loud and explosive.”
“When Marshall came knocking, it was a no-brainer for us to jump on board and link arms with a brand embedded in rock’n’roll history,” says guitarist and vocalist Mathew Cartlidge. Bass player Issey Cartlidge adds, “They forged the way for some of the greats, and we are excited to become the new generation of Marshall music.”
The Molotovs are set to continue touring throughout 2025, with appearances scheduled at the Isle of Wight Festival and a European tour supporting iDKHOW, before heading to the studio.
