Self Esteem has announced her third album ‘A Complicated Woman’, set for release via Polydor Records on 25th April.
The new record follows Rebecca Lucy Taylor‘s Mercury Prize and BRIT Award-nominated album ‘Prioritise Pleasure’, and features collaborations with Nadine Shah, Moonchild Sanelly, and Sue Tompkins from Life Without Buildings. The album includes contributions from a large choir of predominantly female voices, including drag queen Meatball and actress Julie Hesmondhalgh.
Taylor has shared the album’s first single ‘Focus Is Power’, which was inspired by words she wrote while working from her parents’ shed during the pandemic.
