Antony Szmierek pays tribute to a fictional wedding party with his new single ‘Angie’s Wedding’

Antony Szmierek has shared new single ‘Angie’s Wedding’, the latest track to emerge from his forthcoming debut album ‘Service Station At The End Of The Universe’.

The Manchester-based poet, writer, and producer’s new offering pays tribute to a fictional wedding party where characters from the album unite.

“The album was always going to end at a wedding or a wake, and I went with the most positive option,” Szmierek explains. “Inspired by motorway graffiti, a track that takes us to a place where ‘the doers and the dreamers’ of the world live forever. All recorded in one continuous take, with the mistakes left in.”

The track follows singles ‘Yoga Teacher’ and ‘The Great Pyramid Of Stockport’, all set to feature on his debut album, releasing via Mushroom Music/Virgin Music Group on 28th February.

Szmierek will support the release with a series of instore performances and headline dates. The dates in full read:
