Villagers are going to play some acoustic shows for ‘Darling Arithmetic”s 10th anniversary

Villagers have announced a series of special acoustic performances to mark the tenth anniversary of their third album ‘Darling Arithmetic’.

Conor O’Brien will perform shows in London, Dublin and Paris this May, celebrating the record which topped the Irish charts upon its release in 2015 and went on to win the Ivor Novello Award for Best Album. The album followed their Mercury Prize-shortlisted record ‘{Awayland}’.

‘Darling Arithmetic’ was written, recorded, produced and mixed by O’Brien in Malahide, with its sparse instrumentation focusing on themes of love, relationships, desire, obsession, lust, loneliness and confusion.
