Brighton alt-rock trio Bones Ate Arfa have dropped the title-track for their upcoming new EP, ‘Just Bananas’

Bones Ate Arfa have announced their new EP ‘Just Bananas’, set for release on 22nd April, alongside sharing its title-track.

The Brighton alt-rock trio, comprising Bones on guitar, 8 on drums, and Arfa on vocals and bass, are following up on their 2024 EP ‘Amkibo People’.

“The song and EP name is a reference to mine and 8’s grandma as she owned a shop in our hometown called Just Bananas,” Arfa explains. “The single is about her giving our guitarist, Bones, a cigarette at a birthday party, but also just about how cool of a person she is. She wears these giant fur coats that are pimping as hell and she owns one of those classic jukeboxes from the 60s. She’s been to so many of our shows which is mad cos we don’t exactly make the politest sounding music… she’s still yet to throw down a two step though.”

They are set to embark on a UK tour in August to support the EP release, with dates still to be announced.
