Deep Sea Diver is teasing her fourth album ‘Billboard Heart’ with new single ‘Shovel’

Deep Sea Diver have announced their fourth album ‘Billboard Heart’, set for release via Sub Pop.

The album, which marks their debut for the label, features eleven tracks including previous single ‘Billboard Heart’ and a collaboration with Madison Cunningham on ‘Let Me Go’. The Seattle band have also shared new single ‘Shovel’, alongside a self-directed video.

“‘Shovel’ is one of the most angular and dualistic songs I’ve written, and I wanted to do a one-shot video that captured the grit, rawness, and intensity of the song,” Jessica Dobson explains. “Simply put, it is me digging and dancing with a shovel in the middle of the night, desperately looking for beauty in dark places. Influenced by Lynch, the Cohen brothers, Nick Cave, and the sweet dance moves of Kate Bush.”
