Cat Burns has released a cover of Wheatus’ ‘Teenage Dirtbag’

Cat Burns has released a cover of ‘teenage dirtbag’ following her sold-out ‘early twenties’ album tour across Europe and the UK.

The release comes after performing the Wheatus track during her recent tour, with the track having seen renewed popularity on TikTok over recent years.

Burns began experimenting with covers following the summer release of her debut album ‘early twenties’, which features songs ‘people pleaser’ and ‘alone’. She has previously performed a version of Artemas’ ‘i like the way you kiss me’ for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.

The singer has recently received a Mercury Prize nomination in 2024 for ‘early twenties’, with new music expected to arrive in early 2025.
