Funeral For A Friend announce two Welsh-heavy UK shows for summer 2025

Funeral For A Friend have announced two UK summer shows for 2025, featuring an all-Welsh line-up of supporting acts.

The post-hardcore outfit are set to perform at Leeds Millennium Square’s Sounds of The City on 18th July, joined by The Blackout, Casey, and Kill The Lights. The following day, they will play Cardiff Castle’s Rock the Castle event, with Skindred and Dream State joining the existing support acts.

The shows follow the band’s 2023 tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Casually Dressed & Deep In Conversation’. Funeral For A Friend’s most recent studio album was 2015’s ‘Chapter and Verse’, followed by their live recording ‘Hours (Live At Islington Academy, London, 2014)’ in the same year.

The performances will feature Holding Absence vocalist Lucas Woodland, who joined the band for their Slam Dunk and Download Festival appearances this year following Matthew Davies-Kreye’s departure in December 2023.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from 21st November at 9am, with general sale beginning on 22nd November at 9am.
