Arctic Monkeys, Taylor Swift, The 1975 and Noel Gallagher donate items to cancer charity auction

Arctic Monkeys, Noel Gallagher and Taylor Swift are among the artists who have donated items to Teenage Cancer Trust’s Christmas ‘Star Boot Sale’ auction.

The auction features signed memorabilia, clothing, and artwork from various entertainment industry figures, with all proceeds supporting young people facing cancer in the UK. Running from 18th November until 2nd December, the sale includes a range of rare and collectible items.

Arctic Monkeys have contributed a signed vinyl copy of their seventh album ‘The Car’, while Noel Gallagher has donated a pair of hand-signed Adidas Stan Smith trainers featuring his image and initials. The auction also includes a white mounted print of Gallagher’s Live At The Royal Albert Hall poster, numbered 1 of 5.

Other notable items include a mounted and signed Taylor Swift presentation with photographs, a signed Brian May guitar, and Lewis Capaldi’s signed wool jacket from the 2023 Brit Awards. The Who’s Roger Daltrey has provided a signed setlist from their Glastonbury 2015 headline performance.

The auction features additional items from The 1975, Pete Doherty, Kasabian, Courteeners, Bryan Adams, Iron Maiden, Newton Faulkner, and Little Mix. Actor contributions include pieces from Nicholas Hoult, Tom Hanks, and Ian McKellen, who has signed a Lord Of The Rings poster.

Earlier this year, Roger Daltrey announced his departure as curator of the Teenage Cancer Trust concert series, a role he has held since 2000. The series has raised over £32million for cancer support during his tenure.
