Glastonbury Festival 2025 tickets have sold out in 35 minutes, following the introduction of a new queuing system for this year’s sale.
The festival, which will return to Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset from 25th to 29th June 2025, implemented changes to their booking process that saw customers assigned random positions in a queue rather than repeatedly refreshing the booking page.
“Tickets for Glastonbury 2025 have now Sold Out. Thanks to everyone who bought one and sorry to those who missed out, on a morning when demand was much higher than supply,” Glastonbury wrote on their social media channels. “There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in spring 2025.”
The festival organisers explained the new system on their website, stating: “Anyone who logs on once the sale has started will automatically be added to the back of the queue, so it’s important to make sure you are online ready at least a few minutes before the sale opens.”
The sale follows Thursday’s coach and ticket package release, which sold out in 32 minutes under the same system. Glastonbury has confirmed they will take a fallow year in 2026, with no festival taking place that summer.
While the 2025 line-up remains unannounced, festival co-organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed she is “already in talks” with potential performers. Unconfirmed rumours abound that both Olivia Rodrigo and The 1975 could be set for big appearances.
