Coupdekat has shared her anxious new single ‘soda pop!’

Coupdekat has shared her new single ‘soda pop!’ via indie label Our House Online.

The track, which explores themes of mental health and anxiety, is the second single to be taken from the LOUD LDN co-founder’s upcoming EP ‘the world she created / inside of her pocket*’, set for release in early 2025.

“soda pop! is a conversation with my anxiety. I have periods of intense overthinking and I battle regularly with my inner monologue. soda pop! personifies these feelings,” Coupdekat explains. “I was super inspired by the anime ‘Words Bubble Up with Soda Pop’ which follows two teens who have trouble communicating. Instrumentally, Luca Dixon and I took inspiration from The Radio Dept, The Sundays and Kevin Abstract.”
