Chrissy Costanza has released a new single ‘Perfect Crime’.
The release follows her debut solo EP ‘VII’ and arrives ahead of a co-headline tour with VOILÀ; her first solo UK and European tour dates.
“The ‘Perfect Crime’ is about the silent, invisible ways we self-destruct — a crime no one knows you’ve committed because it’s all hidden behind a smile,” Costanza explains. “The song has a grainy rock sound; it’s intense and defiant. I wanted to bring not only attention to those parts of ourselves we suppress, but express those raw emotions that often stay unspoken. I hope it opens up conversations about what we often keep hidden.”
Speaking about ‘VII’, she adds: “VII is a true reflection of my journey as an artist and every track holds a piece of my evolution—both musically and personally. I wanted to push boundaries, experiment with new sounds, and give my fans something raw and real. It’s a new chapter for me that feels closer to my soul than ever before. Through these seven songs, I explored my love for fantasy and mythology, imagining myself as Icarus with wings of wax and feathers, hurtling towards the sun.”
