My First Time poke fun at toxic masculinity with their new single and video, ‘Man Of Ill Repute’

My First Time have shared a new video for their single ‘Man Of Ill Repute’.

Directed by Grace Pickering, the clip follows an awful, self-obsessed bloke preparing for a night out, with the song exploring themes of toxic masculinity.

It’s the first of a series of tracks that see the Bristol-formed four-piece – comprising Isaac (lead vocals/guitar), Jordanna (drums), James (guitar/vocals) and Naia (bass/vocals) – exploring the absurdities of modern life.

“We’re watching it burn, and all we can do is laugh at it,” says Isaac. “The reality is too scary not to.”

Check out the video below.
