The feeling of listening to the debut album by mysterious and ever so slightly bonkers British electronic duo Two Shell is like consuming one of those multipacks of fun size chocolate bars. It tastes amazing, you recognise all the flavours, you wish you had more but you’re a bit confused why you consumed the whole thing in one go. Still, everyone loves fun size milky ways and there’s a whole lot to love on ‘Two Shell’ in its own idiosyncratic way. 

‘Two Shell’ frequently shape shifts and morphs as tracks blend in and cut short and the dizzying array of samples and vocal cut ups swirl around you. Fleetingly it coalesces into an enormous euro club banger like ‘everybody worldwide’ or the closing three-track stretch of thrilling hyperpop techno mini odysseys like the stunning ‘Mad Powers’. Brilliantly confounding but maddening in equal measure there’s no one quite like Two Shell right now.
