London-based six-piece Man/Woman/Chainsaw have released their debut EP ‘Eazy Peazy’.
To coincide with the release, the band have shared a live session recorded at The George Tavern, directed by Ella Margolin, along with a visualiser for ‘Sports Day’.
The EP was recorded with Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox at Echo Zoo studio in Eastbourne. Speaking about the song ‘Sports Day’, they explain: “Sports Day takes commonplace memories of shame and embarrassment on sports day to ridiculously exaggerated levels. We were inspired by the brash, campy worlds of American films like ‘Grease’ and ‘But I’m A Cheerleader’ to set memories of teenage insecurity against a bright backdrop, with an instrumental that mimics the pomp and pageantry of a marching band.”
