Bat for Lashes has put together a collaborative EP with harpist Lara Somogyi, ‘The Dream of Delphi (Harp Visions)’

Bat For Lashes is set to release a collaborative EP with harpist Lara Somogyi.

The release features reimagined versions of tracks from her recent album ‘The Dream Of Delphi’, with ‘The Dream Of Delphi (Harp Visions)’ set to arrive on 6th December via Mercury KX.

The collaboration came about after Natasha Khan saw Somogyi perform in London earlier this year, leading to the pair duetting at Kingston’s St John’s Church during the ‘Dream Of Delphi’ launch show.

“It was really fun working with Lara on this collection of songs to recreate something so musically improvised and all over the place,” Khan explains. “Lara brought her own beautiful versions of the piano chords to the studio, and when she played them I was so touched it made me cry to hear it. So pure and vulnerable.”
