Rose Gray has shared her new single ‘Wet & Wild’, about a crazy night in New York

Rose Gray has shared new single ‘Wet & Wild’.

It’s the latest track to be taken from her upcoming debut album ‘Louder, Please’. Set for release via Play It Again Sam on 17th January, the record follows on from the Walthamstow-based artist’s ‘Dancing Drinking Talking’ mixtape and EPs ‘Higher Than The Sun’ and ‘Synchronicity’.

Speaking about the new single, Gray explains: “I wrote this with Sur Back (aka Caroline Sans) in Nyc, she played me the track pretty close to what it is now, and I fell instantly in love. Those acid-house-synths just got me.

“The song is about a crazy night I had in New York. I left a club in a state of chaos, before long I was running through the streets of Soho and then it started to rain. It was warm rain. I was feeling wild, my Vivienne dress was soaked through. I was having a main character moment.”
