LCD Soundsystem have returned with their new single ‘x-ray eyes’.

The track marks their first new music since 2022. Written by James Murphy, Al Doyle and Nancy Whang, and produced by Murphy for DFA Productions, the release comes as the band confirm work has begun on their fifth album – their follow-up to 2017’s Grammy-winning ‘AMERICAN DREAM’.

To mark the release, LCD Soundsystem are issuing a limited edition run of screen printed 12″ vinyl. These will feature ‘x-ray eyes’ on the A-side, alongside a previously unheard trash can dub remix on the B-side. 100 copies will be available at each date of their upcoming Los Angeles and New York City residencies, with a further 500 available to pre-order via DFA Records.
