Abbie Ozard shows off acoustic versions, new material and a Sundays cover with her ‘everything still worries me (cosy sessions)’ EP

Abbie Ozard has dropped her ‘everything still worries me (cosy sessions)’.

It’s an EP featuring acoustic versions of tracks from her debut album alongside a new single and a cover of The Sundays. It also includes the previously unreleased track ‘you’re like the sun’.

Speaking about the new single, Abbie says: “‘you’re like the sun’ was an idea that I had started while I was writing the album, but I only got around to finishing it recently and I really wanted to get it out there. It’s an anthem for all of those people who don’t realise how special they are, who lift us up and make life feel a little bit better. I hope this track can also bring a bit of light and warmth right now.”

On the acoustic versions, she adds: “I’m super happy to have the acoustic versions of some of my favourite songs from the album included in this package too. A lot of the songs on the record were written acoustically so it only made sense to strip them back to the bare bones so they can be explored in a totally different way.”

Her upcoming dates in full read:

NOVEMBER
20 King Tuts, Glasgow
21 Hyde Park Book Club, Leeds
22 Deaf Institute, Manchester
25 The Louisiana, Bristol
26 Lower Third, London
