Biig Piig has shared her new “feel yourself moment”, debut album teaser single ‘Decimal’

Biig Piig has released a new track titled ‘Decimal’.

The song follows her recent single ‘4AM’ and serves as another preview of her upcoming debut album, which she has been working on after releasing her mixtape ‘Bubblegum’ in 2023.

‘Decimal’ features Biig Piig alternating between Spanish and English lyrics, and was partially inspired by and recorded at Paris’ Motorbass studios, founded by Philippe Zdar.

Biig Piig describes the inspiration behind the song, saying: “Decimal is a track about connecting with someone from across the room in a club, in a sweaty environment and it just feeling electric.

“I wrote it in Motorbass studios in Montmartre in Paris with Andrew Wells, the way we found the tempo was to a strut I did across the room. That’s how I wanted the energy of the track to be, like a feel yourself moment.

“It called for Spanish verses too, something I haven’t done in a minute. Just the feel of the track and the intimacy of it made me want to write those imagining them like a whisper in someone’s ear.”

The release of ‘Decimal’ is accompanied by Episode 2 of a series of short films written by Biig Piig to complement the record, too.
