Fred Roberts has released his new single ‘Get It Over With’.
The track details his experience in a toxic relationship, and follows on from debut EP ‘Sound Of My Youth’, released in April.
Speaking about the single, he says: “Get It Over With explores the tension between knowing you deserve better and feeling too emotionally tied to someone to let go. It’s about how love can make you blind to the harmful patterns others see, even as you struggle to act on their advice.
“A year after writing the song, the relationship ended, and over time, I gained perspective. I now see the relationship as a learning experience. It taught me valuable lessons about love and self-worth, and I hope the song resonates with anyone who has struggled to let go of someone they loved, even when it was for the best.”
Fred has recently supported Kylie at Hyde Park in London, and announced two new headline shows for November. The dates for Fred Roberts’ upcoming shows are as follows:
