Good Neighbours have released their debut self-titled EP featuring new single ‘Weekend Boy’

Good Neighbours have released their debut self-titled EP.

The release coincides with the duo kicking off the UK leg of their autumn tour, and features one new song ‘Weekend Boy’ alongside previously released tracks ‘Keep It Up’, ‘Daisies’, ‘Bloom’ and ‘Home’.

The EP also includes their cover of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Video Games’ for Spotify Singles and their version of Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Espresso’ from Triple J’s Like A Version.

Additional covers of Taylor Swift’s ‘Wildest Dreams’ and a mashup of MGMT’s ‘Time To Pretend’ and Lorde’s ‘Perfect Places’, as recorded for Jack Saunders’ show on BBC Radio 1, are available as bonus tracks on the vinyl and CD formats.

Speaking about ‘Weekend Boy’, the band say: “We wrote this song about the stages of figuring out whether or not you’re ready to dive in the deep end of a relationship. It’s about the struggle of wrestling with good feelings about someone after a while out of the game.”
