Sunflower Bean have released their new self-produced EP ‘SHAKE’ alongside an accompanying short film

Sunflower Bean have released their self-produced EP ‘SHAKE’ via Lucky Number.

The New York trio, comprised of Julia Cumming, Nick Kivlen, and Olive Faber, have also shared an accompanying EP-length short film.

Alongside the Black Sabbath-influenced EP, the band have unveiled a 14-minute performance-based video that interprets each track through the natural elements: earth, wind, water, fire, and metal.

It debuted at a special event at NYC’s Roxy Cinema, which included a Q&A with the band and the film’s director Isaac Roberts, as well as a viewing of the 1975 Dario Argento film, ‘Deep Red’.

Sunflower Bean have announced a series of US club shows to celebrate ‘SHAKE’, where they will perform the EP and showcase new music. The dates are as follows:
