Matt-Felix has released his new single ‘Don’t Cry’, written after a bad shift at work

London-based artist Matt-Felix has unveiled his latest single ‘Don’t Cry’.

The track, self-penned and co-produced with Francesco Pedrinoni, follows his previous single ‘Lay Low’ and his debut tracks ‘Leave, Just To Stay’ and ‘1917’.

Matt-Felix says of the song: “I wrote ‘Don’t Cry’ one morning after a particularly bad shift at the restaurant I work at. I remember feeling so lost and frustrated with where I was in life, feeling like I wasn’t moving forward. I sat on the sofa with my guitar and wrote the whole song in one go. Lyrics, everything – all in one sitting. It feels so simple, almost like a song that already exists.”

Check it out below.

Matt-Felix will support Sunday (1994) at Camden Assembly on 30th September, followed by a headline show at The George Tavern on 3rd October.
