Brighton-based indie foursome Canned Pineapple have released their new single ‘Jessie Met Jane’.
Produced by Tom Rees (Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard), the track arrives alongside news of an upcoming EP, ‘Big Break’, which follows on from their self-titled debut EP.
Vocalist Seán Drury says of the new single: “We wrote this tune when we were staying at our friend’s flat one time on tour. In the flat above, there was these 3 people arguing with each other all night long; we all sort of went off on a long imaginative tangent about the 3 of them being in a love triangle and what they might be arguing about. It was a heavy night to say the least and I ended up writing a song about our deluded vision into their reality.”
