The artist lineup for the ‘Arcane League of Legends: Season 2’ original soundtrack is out.
The album features over 20 original tracks from artists including Twenty One Pilots, Stray Kids, Young Miko, Stromae, Marcus King, Ashnikko, and d4vd.
Maria Egan, Global Head of Music at Riot Games, says: “Arcane’s groundbreaking approach to music inspired an incredibly diverse group of artists from many genres, languages, and cultures who wanted to be part of this new season. We also wanted to represent the global reach of League of Legends by working with artists from all around the world. Each song was a unique collaboration between the artists, our showrunners, and Riot’s composers. Music is the heartbeat of the League community and we can’t wait for our fans to experience this epic album to deepen their connection to these powerful stories.”
Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots comments on his inspiration: “I found myself inspired by season one and how the idea of family and who can make up your family sits within the central theme, and how music contributed to bringing that to life within the world of Arcane.”
The first single from the soundtrack, ‘Paint The Town Blue’ by Ashnikko, was released earlier this month alongside the Arcane season two trailer. The second season of Arcane is set to debut on Netflix in November 2024.
