Florrie has released a new single, ‘Swimming Pool’.
It follows on from her long-awaited debut album; the multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer and songwriter releases ‘The Lost Ones’ back in June via BMG and Xenomania Records.
She’s also recently supported Girls Aloud (who she’s previously both played and written for) at their five O2 Arena London shows this summer.
Florrie says of the track: “Swimming Pool has such a nostalgic feeling about it and came together so easily in the studio, which isn’t always the case! The writing process was very freeing and I think you can hear that in the production. I wrote it last summer, and it didn’t feel like the right move to put it on the album, as the album has very different themes, but I hope it’s a song that people go to when they want that lazy summer feeling of hanging out in the park or by the pool, or reminiscing about those carefree summers gone by.”
