Iceland Airwaves have announced the third wave of artists for their 2024 festival.
The event – set to take place in Downtown Reykjavík from 7th – 9th November – will be celebrating its 25th anniversary, featuring a mix of international acts and local Icelandic talent.
Newly confirmed are Charlotte Day Wilson (pictured), Davidsson, Flott, Hjálmar, Jasmine Netsena, Jónfrí, Spacestation, Sunna Margrét, Supersport! and more. They join the likes of Shygirl, Overmono, Bar Italia, The Vaccines, MRCY, English Teacher, Lambrini Girls, and Lynks.
Ísleifur Þórhallsson, Festival Manager for Iceland Airwaves, said: “We are incredibly proud to be celebrating not only 25 years of Iceland Airwaves, but 25 years of playing a key part in the careers of some of the world’s most talented artists. Over the years, we have seen many of our Airwaves alumni grow from strength to strength, often developing into some of the industry’s most acclaimed artists. It is an honour to continue to bring new talent to Reykjavík and share our beloved Icelandic community with the world.”
The festival continues its commitment to gender-balanced lineups as part of its ongoing work with Keychange. Full details of the festival’s industry panel conversations, keynotes, and network parties will be announced soon.
