Wunderhorse have unveiled a new track titled ‘Arizona’.
It marks the latest offering from their upcoming second album ‘Midas’, set for release on 30th August, and follows their sets at Reading & Leeds over the bank holiday weekend.
The full-length was recorded at Minnesota’s Pachyderm Studio with producer Craig Silvey, known for his work with The Rolling Stones, The National, and Florence + The Machine.
“When we first went into the studio to make this record, the only thing we were sure about is how we wanted it to sound; very imperfect, very live, very raw; no frills,” frontman Jacob Slater notes. “We wanted it to sound like your face is pressed up against the amplifiers, like you’ve been locked inside the bass drum.”
The new record follows Wunderhorse’s 2022 debut ‘Cub’.
