Man/Woman/Chainsaw look at jealousy, desire and self-pity with their new single ‘Grow A Tongue In Time’

Man/Woman/Chainsaw have shared their new single ‘Grow A Tongue In Time’.

It’s the second track from their upcoming debut EP ‘Eazy Peazy’, set for release on 8th November via Fat Possum Records.

The London-based group, who recently celebrated their 100th gig, have also announced a new London headline show at 100 Club on 31st October, with tickets going on sale on 30th August at 10am.

Man/Woman/Chainsaw describe ‘Grow A Tongue In Time’ as “a stream-of-consciousness look at jealousy, desire and self-pity. This began with a very stripped back arrangement on just bass, which gradually grew as we added different elements, from droning violin to creaking bowed guitar. Although It’s a moment of calm in the chaos of the set, the song builds its own intensity without relying on aggression.”

The band’s debut EP was recorded with Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox at Echo Zoo studio in Eastbourne.
