English Teacher have announced a new live EP, ‘Live From BBC Maida Vale Studios’.
Set for release on 30th August via Island Records, the five-track EP features recordings from BBC sessions with Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio 6. It includes two covers – Billie Eilish’s ‘Birds of a Feather’ and LCD Soundsystem’s ‘New York, I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down’ – alongside three tracks from the band’s debut album: ‘The World’s Biggest Paving Slab’, ‘This Could Be Texas’, and ‘You Blister My Paint’.
The announcement follows the news that English Teacher’s debut album ‘This Could Be Texas’, released on 12th April via Island Records, has been shortlisted for the 2024 Mercury Prize.
